Before you email
To help us understand the issue, include:
- your selfo and iOS versions;
- your iPhone or iPad model;
- steps immediately before and after the issue;
- whether it can be reproduced; and
- a screenshot only when needed and free of private content.
Never send an Apple ID password, verification code, card number, identity document, or unrelated private photo. Most issues do not require original media files.
Photos and organization FAQ
Why does selfo need Full Photos access?
Core organization, creating and maintaining “selfo 收藏,” and confirmed deletion require Full read-and-write Photos access. You can change it in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → selfo.
Is “selfo 收藏” the Apple Photos heart?
No. It is an ordinary system album. Confirming a favorite adds the original media to that album without copying, moving, or changing the Apple Photos heart state.
Why do some iCloud photos take time?
If an original is not on the device, PhotoKit may ask Apple to download it according to your network and iCloud Photos settings. selfo does not control the speed or store the original on a selfo server.
How do I recover a confirmed deletion?
Successfully deleted media ordinarily appears in Recently Deleted in Apple Photos. Use the Photos app to review or recover it; Apple controls the retention period. selfo cannot restore content after the system permanently removes it.
Why do pending queues stop at 50 items?
Each pending queue currently holds up to 50 items so you can review in batches. Complete, undo, or clear a batch before adding more.
Will a scan delete photos automatically?
No. Similar-photo, large-file, screenshot, screen-recording, and color-theme scans only present local results. A favorite or deletion always requires your confirmation.
How is the free allowance counted and reset?
The free version can organize 20 photos and 10 videos each day. The allowance resets automatically at the start of each local calendar day. A pending favorite or delete decision reserves that day's corresponding allowance; withdrawing it before confirmation releases the allowance, and a successful favorite or deletion then counts as used for that day. Swiping left does not count, and the same media item is counted once across entry points or when switching between favorite and delete. An item added to a pending queue on a previous day can still be confirmed after the day changes and does not use the new day's allowance.
Subscriptions, cancellation, and refunds
How do I restore a purchase?
Use Restore Purchases on selfo's subscription page. Make sure the device is signed in to the Apple account used for purchase and has network access.
How do I cancel or change plans?
Open Apple account subscription management. Deleting selfo does not cancel a subscription.
How do I request a refund?
Apple handles billing and refunds. Visit Apple's Report a Problem or contact Apple Support. The developer cannot directly change your App Store payment method or approve a refund.
See the selfo Pro Subscription Disclosure.
Privacy requests
To request access, correction, or deletion of support communications controlled by the developer, use the subject “selfo Privacy Request” and describe the request, the relevant email address, and approximate communication date. To prevent unauthorized requests, we may ask only for the minimum verification needed. Do not proactively send identity documents.
Photos, videos, organization records, and preferences primarily reside on your device. You can change Photos permission, undo pending marks, or delete the app. Information controlled by Apple must be managed through Apple's channels.
