01 · Before you begin
Review the legal documents, then enable Full Photo Access
On first launch, selfo shows the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. selfo requests read-and-write Photos access only after you tap “Agree and Continue”; tapping “Not Now” does not request Photos access.
selfo needs to read the complete library, maintain the ordinary “selfo 收藏” album, and use system Photos capabilities for favorites or deletion after your final confirmation. A limited selection cannot support the complete organization flow reliably.
You can decline or change access later in Settings. Without Full Access, selfo cannot provide complete library organization.
02 · Main navigation
Meet the four main areas
Organize Photos
Review photos by album and segment with the same fixed card gestures.
Organize Videos
Use the same gestures with playback, temporary speed, and progress controls.
Focused Tools
Find similar photos, screenshots, screen recordings, color themes, large files, and today's additions.
More
See subscription status, allowance, library insights, main review queues, guides, and settings.
03 · Review cards
Four directions, each with a fixed meaning
Left · Move on
Advance without adding a queue item or using free allowance.
Up · Pending Favorite
Add a reversible favorite decision without changing the system library yet.
Right · Pending Deletion
Add a reversible delete decision without deleting immediately.
Pull down · Open Gallery
Expand the current batch into a gallery and locate more content quickly.
Left only moves on. Up and right only add items to review queues. Neither scanning nor swiping automatically favorites or deletes anything.
04 · From decision to completion
Your library changes only after review
- 1
Open a review queue
Use the star or delete entry at the top of an organizer, or open the main photo and video queues from More.
- 2
Review what will change
Tap Select, then tap or drag across items. Preview selected content again, cancel individual selections, or withdraw a pending decision.
- 3
Perform the final action
Use the favorite or delete control only after checking your selection. Deletion still presents an iOS system confirmation.
After confirming a favorite
The original joins the ordinary “selfo 收藏” album. It is not copied or moved, and the Apple Photos favorite heart is unchanged.
After confirming deletion
selfo requests deletion from the system. Content reaches Recently Deleted only after you approve the iOS prompt.
The left control withdraws, the center previews selected content, and the right performs the final action. Each Pending Favorite or Pending Deletion list holds up to 50 items at a time.
05 · Focused tools
See your library from another angle
Review groups of similar moments and decide item by item.
Find system-classified screenshots and queue selected items for photo deletion.
Find, preview, and queue selected screen recordings for video deletion.
Group photos by dominant color, then organize within a chosen group.
Filter by storage size, media type, and threshold before reviewing favorites or deletion.
Organize photos and videos added today with the same card gestures.
Browse this ordinary system album. Removing an item from it never deletes the original.
Explore totals, composition, addition trends, library history, and total video duration.
Similar Photos, Color Themes, Today's Additions, and Large Files keep pending decisions inside each tool. Confirmed screenshot and screen-recording selections enter the main photo or video deletion queue.
06 · Browsing & playback
Inspect details without leaving the flow
- Switch album or segment: tap the album name at the top of the organizer.
- Full-screen preview: tap the current photo, then browse continuously with the thumbnail strip.
- Open the gallery: pull down or pinch smaller; selection mode also supports batch decisions.
- Media information: see available date, location, device, focal length, ISO, filename, dimensions, duration, and size.
- Live Photo: press and hold to play; use the Live Photo control for autoplay and mute options.
- Video: tap to play or pause, drag the progress bar, or hold for temporary 2× playback.
07 · Allowance & subscription
Start free, then upgrade if you need more
The free plan includes organization for 20 photos and 10 videos each day. The allowance resets automatically at the start of each local calendar day. A pending favorite or delete decision reserves that day's corresponding allowance; withdrawing it before confirmation releases the allowance, and a successful favorite or deletion then counts as used for that day. Swiping left does not count, and the same asset is counted once across entry points or when switching between favorite and delete. An item added to a pending queue on a previous day can still be confirmed after the day changes and does not use the new day's allowance.
Pro removes the daily photo and video organization limits. Monthly, quarterly, six-month, and yearly periods unlock the same benefits; actual pricing and offers appear in the app and Apple’s purchase sheet.
