1. Acceptance and provider
selfo is provided by individual developer 叶尔特斯·拜布提汗. By downloading, accessing, or using selfo, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use selfo.
If you are not old enough to enter this agreement independently where you live, use selfo only with a parent or guardian's consent and guidance. You must have the authority to grant selfo access to media on your device.
2. What selfo provides
selfo is an iOS photo and video organizer. It may provide media preview, gesture-based organization, pending favorite and deletion review, similar-photo scanning, screenshot and screen-recording organization, large-file detection, color themes, media information, and organization statistics. Available features depend on your installed version and the actual in-app interface.
selfo currently provides no proprietary account, cloud backup, or developer-controlled media sync. It is not a photo backup, data recovery, or permanent archival service.
3. Photos access and user content
Core features require Full read-and-write access to Photos. You may deny or withdraw permission in iOS Settings, but related organization features will not work. Originals not yet downloaded from iCloud Photos may be downloaded by Apple's system under your settings.
Your photos, videos, and other content remain owned by you or their rights holders. selfo does not acquire ownership by providing organization features. You are responsible for having the rights needed to process media and must not use selfo to infringe privacy, publicity, copyright, or other rights.
4. Organization actions and confirmation
4.1 Gestures and pending queues
- A left swipe skips the current item without adding it to favorite or deletion queues and without consuming the free organization quota.
- An upward swipe adds an item to pending favorites; a right swipe adds it to pending deletion. Both are local marks that require another confirmation on a review page.
- Scan and grouping results are suggestions and never favorite or delete media automatically.
4.2 “selfo 收藏”
Confirming a favorite adds the original photo or video to an ordinary system album named “selfo 收藏.” It creates no copy, does not move the original, and does not set the Apple Photos heart state. Removing an item from that album only removes album membership and does not delete the library original.
4.3 Deletion and recovery
After you confirm deletion, selfo asks PhotoKit to delete the item and iOS displays a system confirmation. Successfully deleted media ordinarily enters Recently Deleted in Apple Photos; Apple controls its retention and recovery. If you cancel or the system operation fails, selfo does not force deletion.
Algorithms, file-size estimates, similarity judgments, and groups may be incomplete or inaccurate. selfo does not guarantee that every relevant item will be identified or that deleted content will always be recoverable.
5. Free allowance and selfo Pro
The free version can organize 20 photos and 10 videos each day. The allowance resets automatically at the start of each local calendar day. Adding an item to Pending Favorites or Pending Deletion reserves that day's corresponding allowance; withdrawing it before confirmation releases the allowance, and a successful operation then counts as used for that day. The same media item is counted once across organization entry points or when switching between favorite and delete, and swiping left to move on does not count. An item added to a pending queue on a previous day can still be confirmed after the day changes and does not use the new day's allowance. An active selfo Pro auto-renewable subscription removes these daily limits.
Apple's App Store handles product information, purchase, renewal, cancellation, billing, and refunds. Price, currency, period, offers, and eligibility are shown through StoreKit in the app and on Apple's purchase confirmation sheet. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. See the Subscription Disclosure.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use selfo to:
- engage in unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, infringing, or privacy-invasive activity;
- process protected content without authorization;
- damage, bypass, or interfere with the app, Apple services, purchase mechanisms, or security controls;
- reverse engineer, rent, sell, redistribute, or provide a derivative service where prohibited by law; or
- distribute malware or abuse the service in a manner plainly beyond normal personal use.
7. Software license and intellectual property
Subject to these Terms, the developer grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use selfo on Apple devices that you own or control.
selfo's software, interface, name, icons, text, and structure are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Open-source components remain governed by their licenses; see Open-Source Notices.
Unless the developer provides a custom EULA in App Store Connect, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement governs the license to use selfo. These Terms supplement product-specific features and rules and do not replace Apple's Standard EULA or non-waivable rights.
8. Availability and changes
Features may depend on device model, iOS version, Photos permission, iCloud state, network access, Apple services, and regional availability. We work to maintain selfo but do not promise uninterrupted service, permanent availability of each feature, or compatibility with every future system version.
We may adjust, suspend, or discontinue features for security, legal, platform, or maintenance reasons. Existing paid entitlements will be handled under applicable law and Apple rules.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, selfo is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that scan, classification, place name, file size, similarity, or other results are completely accurate, or that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
You are responsible for confirmed library actions and backups. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from mistaken actions, permission changes, Apple services, device failure, or inability to use selfo.
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including where applicable liability arising from intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or limits non-waivable consumer rights. If a limitation is not permitted, it applies only to the maximum extent permitted.
10. Applicable law and disputes
These Terms and your use of selfo are governed by laws that actually have jurisdiction. For users in China mainland, applicable mandatory provisions of the laws of the People's Republic of China apply; “China mainland” excludes Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, and Taiwan. For U.S. users, applicable U.S. federal law and the law of a state with jurisdiction may apply.
Please first contact us by support email to try to resolve a dispute. If it remains unresolved, either party may seek relief in a court that has lawful jurisdiction. This section does not limit non-waivable consumer rights under the laws where you live.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms when features, law, or Apple rules change and will update the date above. Material changes will be communicated reasonably through the app, this site, or release notes. Separate consent will be requested where required.
